Windows 10 S mode is free for users. The full suite of Office apps in preview are currently available to download today with Office in the Windows Store for Windows 10 S. No support for bit x64 apps: S mode on Snapdragon processors supports bit x86 apps, bit ARM32 apps, and bit ARM64 apps only—there is no support for bit x64 applications. Be forewarned: Switching out of S mode is a one-way street.
Sorry this didn't help. I'm having the exact same problem with my new laptop. I follow all directions to exit S mode so that I can download apps needed for school, etc, but when I get to the screen where I have to click the "Get" button, it's in gray and won't let me click it. It says, "Contact system administrator for permission. I really need S mode gone asap and need help with next steps. Please, please help! Please help me just get out of S mode.
